2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission VP44 Fuel Pump w/Banks

I have a '02 3500 that has a banks kit installed. Has anyone had problems with the VP44 pump? The dealer has told me to take a long leap off a short pier, I have read somewhere that with a lot of work Chrysler will warranty the pump, I had the pump replaced under warranty before the Banks. They replaced it with a reman and not new. My problem is no power when it is cold, then white smoke when I try to accelerate, when it warms up turbo kicks in and it runs OK. I am getting the P0216 code dealer checked it out and said pump pressure is good but pump is bad, probably the electronics of the pump engine light is also on.

Has anyone had this problem? anyone had any luck with warranty?



I replaced the lift pump and fuel filter.



Any help would be great!!



Good place to purchase a reliable pump?
