Getting ready for a vp swap for a neighbor. Just wondering if there are any imformation or tricks that i should know up front.

I would go ahead and put the large fuel lines on while you are doing the pump switch. That is if you don't already have them on...

Make sure you swap the key. And don't drop it into the front cover area ! Or you will be spending about 4 hours getting it out and putting it back together.

what do you mean by swapping the key, My new pump came with a new key installed, should I have used the old key.

Use the key that came with the pump !!!
