This will be interesting. I don't expect you'll find much info "stored" in there tho. Keep us posted. Even tho some of us can hardly comprehend what you're sayin at times.

Interesting, your observation as to all the components being covered with a "gooey substance" - wonder if that is for heat-sinking or similar function, due to solid-state devices dislike for elevated temps - also wonder if the underside most directly in contact with incoming fuel is similarly coated for the cooling conductivity the design supposedly provides?



In view of that heat sensitivity, I've often wondered what prevents far more ECM failures than we see, since it is also operating in a pretty hot environment...
