Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) VP44 Problem

I pulled a deeteedee moment... I stripped the threads out of the VP 44 Fuel Input line side. I am gonna try and use a helix coil repair kit, has anyone ever done this before and what did you do to fix? If i wanted to upgrade who would be good to go to?

If you are talking about up grading the VP 44 I would still go with Blue Chip Diesel. As for a Helli Coil they work great but I don't know about drilling & taping on the VP with it still on the engine what with metal chips. Maybe some others have tried it.
