Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Short Stack

I drove my truck this morning and about 2miles across town it started to miss when I got on the throttle, I looked at the fuel pressure and it was @ 0 psi. and then the CEL came on. I pulled into a parking lot and shut it off and turn then key back on and did not here the FASS pump come on, I checked the fuse and it was still good Possibly a bad contact on the fuse but I am not sure. Turned the key to start again and pump came on, started it and had 16 psi. Checked the code with the key and only had P 1693 no P0216 code. Went to Cliffmans house and hooked up ODB and it showed P0216 code. My ? is, is it possible for my EZ to make it run rough and throw the P0216 code? The truck runs just fine and has all its power. This is my 3rd VP44 in there now. The other VP44's ran fine too just had the P0216 code, so I am wondering if my EZ might be setting the code some how, any info would be appreciated.
