Question for those of you who've done the relocation with the Vulcan Big Line kit. On the fuel filter housing inlet, from the instructions it says to "secure the new 1/2" line with the clamp". Does this mean to put the clamp (from the old inlet line) on the new barb & push lock fitting I just put together to further secure the fitting and hose together? Then the hose running to the relocated lift pump screws into the new 90 degree swivel on the fuel filter inlet, correct?

This is somewhat confusing since the other 1/2" push fittings for the installation do not require a clamp. Is this just an error in the instructions or what?

I would greatly appreciate any assistance from those folks who've done this...

Thanks

Our filter housings are a little different, but the only hose clamp I used was at the 3/8 hose connection to the steel line from tank.

My Instructions for the 98 were specific for that (and 99?) cause of the different filter housing and related connections. I dont remember any problem with the instructions.
