Hello all

as some of you know and by my signature I am on my 7 lift pump. 10000 miles ago I bought that new campagian pump and installen on the frame rail with the vulcan relocate kit.

I Live in Alaska and I am in Seattle tonight after a blown tire on I 5(see thread in towing and hauling) I just finished a 3 week road trip drove the cassier down from watson lake canada to montana from billings MT to wash coast all pulling a 12 foot coverd trailer with about 4000 lbs total trailer weight usally when i do these trips I always have to replace the lift pump in route well not this time the pump and vulcan relocate kit keep a strong 16 psi at idle and 14 psi at 65 to 70 miles per hour

on the long grades with 80% throttle holds strong at 13 psi. WOT heavy load she holds at 12 PSI I have nothing bad to say about the vulcan kit or the new pump at the frame rail I can always hear it a comforting sound just my observations

just a caution for ya... . when you have time, drop your tank and check to make sure the filters in the tank are clean. If you were dropping lift pumps that often, I would think you have an issue in your tank that is causing it harder for the pump to pull fuel from it. I relocated mine, and a few months later, I was having irratic FP and the pump sounded like it was cavitating. well, check out this thread for what I found in the tank... . http://turbodieselregister.com/forums/showthread.php?t=162740

since "ceaning it out" I have no issues and FP is always a solid 15+ at idle and also cant pull it below 12psi at WOT. :D

Alphacowboy,

I read your older thread about the tank issues. Did the 3rd Gen 35 gallon tank fit?
