Are people having problems with their VuQube or am I the only one. My remote goes crazy when I try to hone in on the satellite. tried calling for help and just give my phone # and wait for them to call back. Has not been worth the expense so far. Any advice. Thanks Dave :mad::mad:

Sorry to hear that. The Mrs and I were considering a VuQube, I noticed on their website that they do have a customer support page Contact Us .
Of course, an email is just as unlikely to be answered as a phone call I guess.

After 5 days of telephone tag w/tech support I finally got a call back and then he wouldnt do anything until I set up VQ so he talk me thru it so I set it up next morning and called them back and said I was ready. 4 hours later some body new called me and wanted t o know what problems was. Told him and he said I probably needed new transmitter. Would have somebody else call me to take care of that. So waited several more hours for next call and he wanted to kn ow when it was purchased. One year and one month and so it would cost approx 125. oo for a new transmitter. So mad I am going back to regular dish setup. #@$%!#@$%!#@$%!#@$%!#@$%!#@$%!

Well we finally received some good news. they will replace transmitter under warranty. Maybe it helped when calmer heads took over (wife) and sent mail to Company explaining situation. Still going to upgrade my old system to have as back up. Nothing more frustrating than being out in the wilds of Idaho w/o phone service and not get things to work. Thanks for giving me a shoulder to whine on.

The vuqube works well when everything is right, but the initial instructional book didnt go far enough and I had to initially call for help and they e-mailed me some instructions thatmade it a lot easier to set up. it takes a few minutes to change between satellites, but the worst is having to play phone taq with support.

Another thing that concerns me about these expensive portable sats is that it would be very easy to walk by and tuck it under your arm and walk off with it. I built a platform to put it on that the legs fit down into so I can take it inside when I leave and then be able to put it right back so dont have to take the time to align it up all over again. The platform I stake down so it stays put.

We have had ours for two years now. (Camping World).

It has been very good. I put mine up on the top of my 5er

where it makes it difficult to get at. So far so good. :=)

I have the VuQube 2000. Absolutely love this dish. I have DishNetwork, < 10 minutes out of box to watching TV. Installed an aluminum plate on bottom, above rubber feet, cut out a couple of holes to run cable thru to lock to my RV ladder. Place on top of RV like ACE476. Camping World had them on sale a while back. I got the 2000 to use with 2 receivers. It also has the auto find feature.
I wouldn't go back to a regular dish, unless absolutely necessary.
Good to hear the Company helped you out.

New transmitter arrived and have set it up and it appears that everything is back in working order. I do appreciate the Co. warranty on this thing as we probably have only used it 6 or 7 times total in the year and two weeks we had it. All is well that ends well. Thanks for listening to my complaints
