Attention: TDR Forum Junkies (From the chairman of the VW dealer council in Canada) the Passat TDI will come as a '04 model.
Unfortunately, it looks like it will only be coming in Tiptronic (slushbox) at first. We have an '03 Variant, and will wait (enjoying every minute of it) until we can have a manual (and hopefully 4 motion) wagon before buying. Meanwhile, if the desired Passat doesn't materialize and kids are finished school, the E-class 3. 2 diesel wagon may come in AWD... ... ...
BTW, around here, it is unusual to see an Jetta that ISN'T a TDI.
