Hi Guys,
I have been keeping my eyes open for a nice W-350 but have not been able to find one that doesn't have high milage or a high price. I have been toying with the idea of converting my W-250 over to a dually. I have looked at the Arrowcraft kits and would have about $1400 in 6 steel rims, a set of fenders, and dually adaptor hubs. Does anyone have any other ideas? Can I just put longer studs on my Dana 70 and install the correct dually rims? What needs to be done to the front wheels/hubs? Is a normal W-350's rear axle narrower than a single rear wheel truck? Can I run 235/85R16 tires on a dually? Finally, does anyone have a set of stock dually rims they would sell me? Thanks for the help. I feel this is the best way for me to go because my truck is paid for, it is in great shape, and I know what I have in it and what it is capable of. Oh yeah, I do have the 1 ton brakes already.
