wacky speedometer

This morning my speedometer was reading 80... but I was only going maybe 45/50.

went to zero at all the stops, but seemed to be always reading high. . like 10 to 20 mph.

???

I was thinking ground as well... . all other gages seem fine.

This morning it was wacky for a few minutes then seemed to be ok.
