Waiting For The Snow To Melt

We're just waiting here in Anchorage for the snow to melt so the new camper can go in the bed. The truck is ready!

Nice camper. Construction looks a lot like our Bigfoot. Planning on an Alaska trip this fall or next.

GFritsch, if it's this fall we may pass each other on the Alcan. We're heading out the end of August or the 1st part of Sept. Hope to spend some time with the Elk in Yellowstone and meander down to the Keys. With any luck next year we won't see any snow.

That's messed up. you waiting on the snow to melt. I have been mowing my yard twice a seek for the last month.

Nice camper!! I'd like to take a peek at someday. That's the same size as my Bigfoot. By the way I'm headed down the Alcan in August as well, maybe if the timing is right we can travel some together.

The only time I use the camper is in the winter, I have never used it in the summer time. Is that a 4 place parked beside it?

pcarlson, stop in anytime. Except Weds. I'm still working at the same place. Sounds good about hooking up. I'll be driving slow though,(speed limit) with the "Dog Camper" in tow.

I'd be slow as well will have the camper and a 7x12 enclosed trailer in tow that will probably be pretty full. I'm in town tomorrow and will try to stop by on my way.

I sped things up by hooking up a hose to the hot water heater to melt enough ice on my sloped driveway beside my house to park my 5er without it sliding away. We're heading down the highway for an 8 week trip leaving 4/23. Fuel prices are going to be painful!!!
