Walker Airsep System

Has anyone considered the Walker Airsep that is mounted on the compressor housing? It can be mounted with the stock air filter or an aftermarket replacement air filter. The principal is to alleviate crankcase pressure, which causes oil leaks. It also prevents blow-by, which causes stains on the truck as well as the towed vehicle. This product is probably a novelty, but it is chosen as standard equipment by several OEMs in the marine sector. They have a special kit for the Ram/Cummins combo. Does anyone know how much it costs? Does anyone have one?

Hi Michael,

I saw the Walker Airsep on Chip's truck of Blue Chip Diesel Performance this past Saturday. Good luck on sending the company (Walker) an e-mail though. I filled out a form on their web site and also sent them an e-mail, and to this day I have not heard anything from them, that was at least a month ago. I suppose I could call them, but just doesn't impress me too much that they don't answer their e-mail concerning a potential customer. As far as cost, I don't know since the contact back to me was non-existent.

I called them last week, and they were very helpful describing the operation of the product. However, the guy I talked to didn't know the price for the D/C, and he had someone call me back. The salesman left me a message, but didn't give me price on my voice mail. I haven't called them back yet. I didn't try e-mailing them.

BTW, how did Chip like the Airsep? Did he comment on it?

Yes, Chip did comment on the Walker Airsep. Actually what brought it up was the oil leaking from the tube at the front of the engine, he said it completely eliminates that. It transfers the oil to the oil inlet on the turbo. He seemed impressed with it. Of course I was just impressed with his truck in general. He is a wealth of information, if you ever get a chance to talk to him it is worth the effort. I guess I may have to call Walker myself and see if I have any better luck.
