Wondering the same thing. Theory is definatly there but cost/experience needs to be known.

Keeping the rubber side down 'n' shiny side up Will Bring a smile at the end of each day (hopefully)

Cost is known... . I was quoted $425 with a 7-8 week lead time. I understand the benefits of reducing crankcase pressure (and even creating a slight vaccuum). I also like the added benefit of not smelling or dripping oil... . but that's an expensive trade-off!

The Walker AirSep is not an easy install. Plan for a full weekend. I have a friend who used to be a Detroit Diesel mechanic, so he is more capable and has more tools than most of us, install one on his Y2K CTD and he said it was a ***** and a half to do. He does feel it was worth it and the parts are all high quality.

Really?! It seemed so simple... I know they are in the middle of a redesign right now so maybe that's being addressed - something about clearance around the alternator... . Interesting comment, though.

They need to redesign the price more than anything. There's not that much to it for it to be that expensive. Good idea, but I'd be concerned about oil buildup in the intake and intercooler.

Y2K Red Stealth Sport 2500 4X4 QC SLT+, 5-spd, 3. 54 anti-spin, 265-75-16 LTX’s (There ain’t no such thing as options, cause ya gotta have it all, including: DC’s dead cow/vinyl interior and don’t stop anti-lock brakes. ) Stock, but not for long. Oops, too late. What silencer ring? (More fun than my 98 SST)

The Walker is great if you drive on the kind of roads that make you brace your feet on the floor boards to keep from hitting the windshield. A friend that cruises telephone lines in a GTE provided '99 CTD was having trouble with oil spilling out on extremely steep downhills until GTE had the Airsep installed,no more problem.
