Anyone installed the Walker tailpipe - P/N 45105 ? Is it much of an improvement over the stocker? I was looking at the tailpipe yesterday and man that thing is banged, mashed and stretched in a bunch of places... .

I am thinking that my low budget exhaust improvements for now will consist of this tail pipe if any good and the Walker 3" muffler or possible straight pipe.

I plan to bomb the truck up to around 220-230 HP at the flywheel. Will my planned exhaust be adequate for this level of bombing??

Thanks in advance, Ken

Hey KMC,

I just put up another reply to you and Powerwagon on another post. Not sure of your part #. The walker # I use is 54 150. It's part of their 4" catback system. I've been satisfied enough with it and a Dyna-Max 4"in/out straight thru to have done three of my trucks. Affordable (muffler and tailpipe set me back less than $150) and it fits. I even use the same kind of stock rubber and hanger set-up so it looks factory.

Hope this helps, Jones

Hey KMC,

Don't know how much sound/noise? you like but I'm running that odd little resonator off of the '98s on my RamCharger and I like it. Plus, it's 3" in and 4" out which makes for a slick "adapter". Might give it a thought.

Jones
