Anybody had problems with Walmart Battries? I am looking at the Maxx-1N EverStartBatteries.

For $54. 00 each you can't beat 3 year free replacment deal.

The ones sitting on the rack there all have G2 on them AS in built July 02, so there all brandnew stock (its a new walmart)

There 900cca where the stock battery is 750.

I know you guys like those Yellow top ones, but for my applications I don't feel I need them, and my wallet says "no way".

Yes we sell good batteries (I'm an associate of a Wal-Mart Super Center in TN). I had one in my old Toyota, and I have one in my old chevy truck right now. Good batteries.

If for no other reason, the warranty alone is enough to go with the Walmart batteries. Last time I bought batteries most shops I spoke with consider batteries for our trucks to be commercial and the warranty sucks (something like 6 month replacement, 3yr pro-rated)

I have been using WalMart batteries for a number of years and have had no problems. I have replaced the battery in my 1988 Oldsmobile and it was in use for over six years and is still useable. We use WM batteries in other cars within the family. I am currently running Sam's batteries in my pick-up. We have been happy with the product.

I will add a thumbs up to Sam's club )Wal Mart) batteries if for no other reason than price and warranties. I got mildly flamed on this forum one time for recommending them, but as replacement batteries there are none better IMO.

3 year warranty... . Yea you are going to need it. Sorry guys but I would not buy that cheap a battery. You cannot buy at 30 year old prices and get 30 year old quality. Heck I would not even use Wally World air in my tires..... much less their crappy batteries:D

I bought several years agoo for my boat and travel trailer and they didn't last long. I switched over to Interstate and have had excellent service with them. I need 13 batteries for all my stuff.

Anything but Exide in the RAM. Exide batteries are Ok in a proper application, but the recommended replacements for our RAMS are greatly under powered.

Wally World batteries are made by Johnson Controls, the same makers as Die-Hard and the parent company of Interstate and Optima batteries.

IMHO

Interstate and Optima are good batteries, but over priced.

Use the batteries that work best for you and don't turn this into a brand wars.
