Walmart pulls PowerService off the shelfs!

I went to wally world and low and behold,,,, no powerservice. I asked the guy in the auto section what was up,,, and he told me they recalled it. I started to panic,,, the issue is no label stating it is low sulfer compliant, or some BS along those lines. I went to the wally in Folsom Communist-fornia.



I am glad this is not banned by this stupid a$@ state.

The Wal-mart here they just put it on the Clearance rack. Only had 1 bottle left though, the brown bottle and it was $18. The get the white bottle.

I was at the local NAPA auto parts store. They still had Power Service in stock.

According to post on another forum, an email response from Power Service stated that the issue is strictly labeling and the Power Service products should be back on Wal-Mart shelves before the end of the month.

I noticed that as well, went there to get more and the whole shelf of diesel stuff was empty. No more diesel stuff at all from Wally World. I just went to Napa and got Lucas upper cylinder treatment.

Powerservice

I've used Powerservice and have switched to Amsoil Diesel Fuel Modifier. Works GREAT. Increases mileage, Runs quieter with Amsoil additive than; #2 without additive and #2 with Powerservice. Excellent cold weather applications. To get the best price on Amsoil products; set up a Commercial account with Amsoil ( there are requirements to qualify). You must buy in quantity and cannot resell but your price is cheaper than a dealer pays for the product. Greg

Mobil 1 synthetic 5w40 diesel oil. I've been buying it at Wal Mart for nearly 3 years. It's kind of hard to find anywhere else, now it isn't avalable there.

I just got back from Wal-Mart, no PS on the shelves. So I picked up a 16 oz bottle of MMO figuring I'd get some PS somewhee else and the girl at the checkout pulled it and would not sell it to me stating that it had been recalled and she couldn't let me have it. What to heck is going on here????

I am currently towing my 5er for a little 6 week R&R and am currently in Twin Falls Idaho. Just bought 2 bottles of PS at the Flying J and it did nto have the new stamp. They only had the white bottle not the gray but what can one do!!!
