Hey does the stearing in any of your 1st gen trucks suck?I might need a Borgenson steering shaft but my shocks are deffinitely shot:eek: would that make er' wander??:confused: I tried titening up the steering box but that only worked for a few days. I would like to get it alined(sp?) but I'm getting to much other stuff:D I got the tires balanced that realy helped!:) I'm getting 19. 5's. so naturaly I want the longest wear out of them!:D Nothing seems to be wearing funny(funny-odd, not funny-ha-ha) :D What do I do????????????:{

what usually wears out is the joint on the end of the steering shaft right before the steering box. it is a box shaped joint that is about 1 inch wide by about 2 inches long grasp it while someone turns the steering wheel back and forth if there is play in that it could be much of your problem, you can fix this 2 ways the best way is go with the borgeson shaft which runs about 2 bills or go to the dodge dealer and get what is called a shaft package it is a rebuild kit that rebuilds the box shaped joint it cost only about 4 bucks, that is the way i fixed mine and now i am good for another 100k miles

Well the 4 sounds better expecialy just to see whats up!!!!!!!!!:D

What does the kit kom with?

I deffinitely agree with your sig!:D Oo. :cool: But what's up with the gauges??:confused: Why can't they see them?

Frank:cool:

I had the same problem but I think I had more play than you I just got the rebuild kit. I comes with some little "shoes" that wear and some little pins ,,,,Its really simple you'll see. The best part is it feels tight again and you only spend 4or5 bucks. :p
