Here's a thread where you can brag about someone you think is the greatest. Tell us about your kid(s), friend(s), neighbor(s) or anyone else who has done something that makes you proud.

I'll brag about my 95 year old grandfather. He married an abused, divorced woman with two kids after he returned from his service during WWII. He became the father the two kids didn't have. When times were really tight, he sold his car and walked to work about 5 miles one way so they would have the money to buy groceries and make their house payment. He and my 92 year old grandmother have been married for close to 55 years. When I went to visit them about a month ago, we went into their rest home apartment and he was sitting on one bed massaging Granny's arthritic hands to try to make her a little more comfortable - and you could see the love in his eyes for her. He gets up in the middle of the night to help her when her leg circulation just won't let her sleep. I truly hope that God takes both of them at the same time because neither of them can live without the other.

I'm proud of my two daughters. They're not exceptional, but have gotten good grades, didn't get drunk, no drugs, good choice of friends, etc.

and the friends that I have come to know and converse with here at the TDR is deffinatly one of them.
