Want boost and pyro

I am going to be getting a boost and pyro guage and was looking at the auto-mete guages in the Geno's catalog. The auto-meter pyro comes with a 5289 street series probe. Is this a good probe or should I get the isspro guage with the k-couple? Price is virtually the same.

With exception to finishing the trans. temp. gauge instal, the Isspro gauges are working great so far. Been using the other 2 and have been in for a week.

I had the auto meter at one time, at night they were VERY hard to read. The isspro EV are VEERRRY nice to read even at night. DON'T forget the fuel pressure gauge very important in the 01. I lost a lift pump at 36K, they go a lot. Eric

I have the autometer egt gauge with the street probe. No problem in the two years that I've had it.



I ended up taking off the light bulb "condoms" so I could read the gauge at night.

Thanks for the info guys. I may go with the isspro I kind of like the white with blue that the isspro models offer. You'll probably hear back from me when I get them and wonder the tricks of installation. What should the fuel pressure read on a '01 H. O 6 speed?

If your lift pump is working properly, it should read 13 to 15 PSI at idle (pre filter). Post it should be a 1-2 psi less if your filter is not clogged.
