Want opinions on my Cummins half ton..

I have a 3rd gen half ton standard cab shortbed cummins. The truck is coming together now. . I'm considering making it a pre runner type truck. . The reason is actually to shave weight going with fiberglass fenders and bedsides. . Another benefit is that I wouldn't have to tub it to run very large slicks. I'm just worried it will look too odd. . I was going to do the viper truck look, though there are benefits going pre runner style. Everyones opinions are appreciated. . I like those fenders, but I'd like to see a straight-on view to see how much they stick out.



You've got an interesting conversion on the 1/2 ton. What front end are you using?

Those are the same fenders that Greg at DRC installs with the KORE systems to clear the 37" tires. I agree the fenders and bedsides look awesome.

Anyone know how they attach? Any cutting required? I assume they replace the existing metal fenders.

My truck is a two wheel drive. . The person I spoke to advised using a 37'' tire on a 2wd with no lift with these fenders. . He's sending me pictures of trucks he's done like that. . I will run a lightweight wheel and tire combo at the track. . On the street I guess I could go big. . He said you cut the existing bed skins off, and replace them with these. .
