Off Roading any 2003 4x4's lifted pics?

Off Roading MileMarker Electric Winch?

Yep, I'm getting REAL serious about pulling! Oo.

Actually it's for a friend who is building his own pulling track and starting a new pullers association down here in Mid TN.

He's going to hire the Crossville sled for public events, but wants an old tractor-return sled for everyone to test and tune on between points events. Or just about anytime a group of newbys -like the diesel guys around here- wants to put a few trucks together and pull.

A fixer-upper would be fine.

The first pull is Sept 27--Ivey Bluff, Cannon Co,-between Woodbury and Manchester. $20 hook, five pullers makes a money class. MTPA rules apply, street stock is pretty loosely enforced.

Now to get 5 diesel trucks to show up.

I'd pull mine if I had the 13" clutch. Peter would skin me if I ripped the center out of the OFE. But then, it'd probably hold just the injectors...

I've often wondered how people test-n-tune their pullers.....

Matt

Thunder in Muncie was a BIG test and tune because of the rainy spring.

Eh, Strick-9? :D And many others... ... .

Chris does a lot of test-n-tune at TiM - last year he couldn't spool his H2E - now he spins the one up top on the twins-setup too fast and eats it... . Live and learn - then build it stronger next time.

Matt

tauntingly--WE GOT SLE-UD! WE GOT A SLE-UD!:D Oo.

Now adding #'s to it. It's rough and not-quite-ready, but will give us something to play with this winter.

We had 10 CTD's not counting 2 towing CTD's. SEVEN of us pulled. Nick pulled 421' on the 400' track and won. First "full pull" of the arena. Now I have the transmission he was using and my Dad's old farm truck. HOO BOY, here we go!

The ole 12. 25 OFE started slipping. Peter is upgrading me for a nominal fee. No more excuses for the 4x2.
