I'm the happy owner of 3 Dodge trucks. One is a "minty" 1971 Dodge D200 with a commercial body that we're using at the wife's business, then I have my beloved clunker, also a 1971 Dodge longbed stepside pickup that looks like it belongs on the boneyard with several layers of peeling paint (but I wouldn't sell it for $20K), and finally I have my 1992 D250 Club Cab that looks much older than it is because I backdated it a bit.
I love that Cummins truck, and will probably keep it forever, but I'd love to convert it to a stepside bed. I measured my '71's bed and it looks like it should be a super easy fit. The only thing that might need some customizing is the fuel filler neck. My question: has anyone of you ever seen or heard of somebody converting a 1st. Gen. to a stepside?
