NWBombers hacked, again!

97 grand caravan strut replacement

I had a buddy with a Springfield Armory SAR 4800 Bushmaster... very nice to shoot and quite accurate with iron sights.

An M1A ... hands down the best . 308 BATTLE RIFLE out there. Contact either Springfield Armory or the best ones are made at Fulton Armory ( http://www.fulton-armory.com/ ). Get a crome lined barrel, National Match trigger group and sights.

There is no such thing as an assult rifle, all rifles could be catagorized as an "assult rifle". This is just a liberal/commie term to classify certain weapons in order to ban them. Next is "sniper rifles" e. g. anything that can has a scope mounted on them ... see what I mean.

I have a friend who has an armalite AR-10 he wants to sell. Its a . 308. I am sure you guys could arange a sale through a FFL dealer. I can send you his email address of your interested in an Armalite.

Its an ar10a4 carbine, with normal stock (picture is folding). He has a couple extras for it like scope mounts, bypod, etc.

So you want a "weapon of war that has no purpose other then to kill people" OH wait I am not Schumer, Hitlery, Fienstein, Boxer or any of those other whack jobs.

Money is no option:

I think the best is a Springfield M1A Super Match or a H&K PSG1. I had a Super Match, great gun easy to shoot 600 yard shots with iron sights. I sold it a few years back for a bunch of money, over $1,000 more than I paid for it.

The M1A SOCOM is a good choice also, but magazines can be spendy, that goes fore any of the M1A's.

The best bang for the buck option.

There are choices, the PTR-91, FN FAL variants (go to GunPartsGuy.com or something like that he is in Vancouver he is a FAL guru), the lesser models of the M1A's.

either way you go you can be shooting a real gun, my cousin warned me about selling the Super Match, and said you will miss it at times. He was right, the little AR just does not do it. Myself I have been casually looking at FN FALs.

what ever you buy check on magazine cost, and what ever options you are going to add. Do the total cost of the gun thing, before you buy, with politics the way they are I would buy a minimum of 10 magazines, they may not be available later on.

People Kill People, I believe in Gun Control: Use both hands. :)

M1A SOCOM is my . 02

The best - not bang for the buck - will be an H&K. The G3's and the variants 91's, 51's and the sniper version MSG90A1 are about as good as they get. Don't know that you can find too many but thought I would throw them out there. There are of course lots of other decent offerings. M-14's were and still are awesome weapons.

Get an M1A/M14.

Springfield is OK. They no longer have the GI parts that many in the know consider the BEST parts.

You could go to LRB and have one built with the GI parts AND a forged reciever. That's the best rifle out there, the closest to the orig. GI battle rifle.

I have a couple Springfields and an Armscorp. They'll last me a lifetime.

This is my Devine, Tx low serial number M1A with a Knight's rail:

#ad

BTW I hear good things about the JLD-91 and the FAL's if theyre built by the right people.

I REALLY like the SOCOM, but you loose about 150 FPS with std 147 gr ammo. If youre going long range, stick with the "regular" barrel. The SOCOM points like a fine shotgun though... ... :-laf

SOCOM hands down. It is basically a M14 except for the full auto. I have a national match M1A and I love it but I'm going to sell it and get a socom. Just my 2 cents worth.

M1A's are great but mag changing is SLOW...

The FN-FAL is probably the best overall.

The HK91 is nice but heavy as a boat anchor (if you want to destroy your should get one with the retractable stock).

One of my customer's has a DPMS LR308 and it's a very nice rifle.

I have shot it and am saving up for one. If you are looking for something with out-of-the-box accuracy they can't be beat.

hammersly

What do you actually want this weapon to do? Just fun shooting with a higher power semi? Owning a 308 semi? Would you consider any other calibers?

Just getting ready when those REVENEW-OOR's take over

No - only kidding - I always wanted one and never never liked the 223 - I mean fun to shot etc - but not a good choice IMO - Military should have never adopted it - IMO - McNamara's (whiz kids ) screwed up BIG TIME... . but that's like IRAQ - water under the bridge noe - sorry about the rant - Love the 308 - other tha 06 and of course the 50 - no better military cartridge... ...
