Does anyone know when the dealers will be taking orders for the 2010? Oo.

Not sure when dealers will take orders but Dodge is not goinng to start building them until October.

My local dealer told me that the 2010 HD wouldn't be availible untill early next year.

When I went to my dealer two days ago for my free oil change, I was told that the new body style for the HD Dodge has been postponed until 2011.

I'd bet that we won't see the new body style for some time.



I wanted one, but I just sunk an arse load of money into mine.



Maybe they'll have the bugs worked out by the time I'm ready for a new one!

"The Dodge Ram Heavy Duty pickups (Ram 2500 and Ram 3500) will appear in calendar-year 2009 for the 2010 model year. The Dodge Ram Chassis Cabs will have a short 2010 model year and will all be built within calendar-year 2009; 2011 models will have the new styling and interiors, and will be built starting in March 2010. "

"Cummins is recalling 400 workers to build engines for the Dodge Ram pickups, and stated that it had a commitment from Dodge for the future as well. Dodge will finish producing 2009 model-year trucks, then shut down for the transition to the 2010 model-year heavy duty pickups; it will also make the diesel-only class 4 and 5 chassis cabs briefly, before switching over in March 2010 to the revised 2011 class 4 and 5 chassis cabs. Most of Dodge's pickups, outside of the gas-only Ram 1500, are Cummins diesel-powered. "

I hope dodge doesent wait till next year to release the new truck, im currently truck less and miss my cummins :{ I want to order as soon as the dealers start taking orders. Oo.

You may be better off getting a 2009 or a 2010 then the new body style. I don't like the looks of the new body style anyway and it will take some time to work out all the kinks.
