Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Want to reach 300 hp's

I don't have any explaination as to why my egt's were so high on the dyno, and not while hauling.

My guess would be less airflow across the CAC. That could raise the temps.

The rubber ring is the boot in the fender. It connects the air box & the fender. Removing it allows more air to enter. Some people drill holes in the top of the air box. . Pull off your cover, air filter & see it.

Its much better to get a BHAF. Its a straight exchange for the entire box

The set up flows more air. The engine is a system. Better flow in, better working engine & better flow out. Thats why we change air filters, upgrade the fuel systems & add bigger exhausts. Oo. Oo. Oo.
