Im plannig 2 buy 05 or newer cr rig and would like 2 run the tst cr and just would like some thoughts on what do with exhaust and air and other things do till i can get twins!

It all depends on what you are going to do with the truck. Drag race, sled-pull, tow, etc. Also depends on how much money you want to spend. The exhaust is already 4-inch and flows pretty good, but you could open it up a little more with a better, (louder :D ), muffler. You will probably want to ditch the stock airbox and get a more free-flowing air filter, along with a larger turbo. :D If you get an auto, you will want to upgrade that with at least a torque convertor and valve body, (minimum). A 6-sp will eventually want a clutch.

I would like 2 do some drag raceing and sled pulling at the local fairgrounds! planning 2 go with the 6sp. Planning 2 go with twins in the future but not right away, and just wanted some ideas 2 get started twards my build up. Thanks 4 the reply!!

Anyhting over 3 and 3 the stock clutch will slip, also the stock exhaust manifold is very restrictive, I put a 2 piece ATS an my wifes truck and it lowered the egt's about 150 degrees. I also put an AFE on it and it seems to work great. Best of luck with your new truck.
