Trying to find a used ecm for a 24v. not sureif it matters what year, mine is an 02 and aparently to new for me to calibrate. I am trying to recalibrate to an industrial calibration. :D going for the 275/730ftlb cal. let me know. thanks. dan

I think you will want one yr specific and that's federal not California---

how are you going to calibrate if I may ask---chris

PM Bob Wagner, he has some left over from the Catcher days... ah the days when you used to have to get under the hood to change the power on the 24v.

you lucky dog---I'm fairly sure my buddy Nowel had one of these on his truck at one time--if you add a box it seems there may have been some issues, but this was back in 99 I think---so you might want to search under member HVAC and see if he said anything about it---chris

cool thanks. I have been wondering about the box as well, because I cant be sure howthe different cal affect pump timing. and I dont want to slap a box back on and have issues. all it has to do is predetonate a couple times and poof new engine for me. I may start with a mild cal, probably to 245-660. and try the box. dont think im going to try the 900ftlb cal.

I'm guessing that the new calibration would add some timing. If it gives you problems, ditch the EZ and go with a fuel-only box like the TST Powermax. You should not have any issues running one of those.

Keep us posted on how this turns out.

heavy hauler that makes sense and I believe that's what he did--then he ditched it altogether and went with the EDGE boxes which were better---

Moose00--that's the wrong year--he needs an '02--you can't just switch ECM's and PCM's between years---chris

I'm not sure what you're saying. Who are you referring to?

EDIT:

Nevermind, you were talking about HVAC, right? So you're saying that the Edge box was better than a recalibrated ECM?
