I'm a flatlander :) (thought I'd get that out of the way first). I would have pulled the pin on an '04 MXZX IF they would have offered the 800SDI in one..... obviously they didn't-so I didn't. I have heard the same rumours as you about a 925 mid season release... . I am waiting for one in SDI trim housed in a Renegade X chassis... . :D

Being a Ski-Doo employee you all have some serious pipe dreams here. I race snow cross here for them in canada and I can tell you there is NOTHING bigger then an 800 CC two storoke in the works! As for turbo charging one why would you need to? n Seriouly my Trail REV 800 CC sled I TRAIL ride on PUMP gas is is modified by Chris Bondi of Bondi Engine Works. I have rode with Chris for years and he knows his stuff a former employee of the Sea Doo R&D department he knows how to make a Rotax go. This winter we all rode around on 165HP 800 CC REV TWINS on PUMP gas Turning 121MPH in a Rolled 1/4 Mile. There isn't much out there touching that No T cat ever Ran me down the only thing that beat my sled at any radar run this year was one of Chris's 800 Triples Making 188 HP on PUMP gas and was a Trail setup. If you want to go build a real sled Chris has (2) Rotax 670's with a common crank making 360 HP on race fuel. Turbo charging a Mach Z has been done I saw one on our DYNO blow up about 4 times in a row after picking it up from the guy who guaranteed it would last under any circumstances.

I got extra one

I got one for $175 if your not in a big hurry, the PDR HX35 is still on the self. But I could get install soon if your interested.

First off... . Jamie I don't know at what elevation you ride but when you get up to 10-11K your 165 hp is down to about 110hp, so to compensate for that you put on an extra 100-150hp turbo.

We ride from 8-11K on an average ride, next week we are going to Revelstoke for a little ride, hopefully we can get in on some of that 1500 foot air, then my 200hp at elevation should be more like 250:D

Please no one kill me for the corrected elevation hp #'s I am not an expert just a guy talking crap.

Sure Jamie go and ruin my dream... now I will have to settle for an 800 HO... :D Does Bondi Engine Works have a web site??

JHansen - I too was expecting the SDI on the 800 this year, I really want the added fuel efficiency.

wishgrantter- A piers turbo is a turbo that has been worked over (ie modified) by the patron saint of turbos in BC. His name is Piers and once he works his magic on a turbo it tends to do its job better. You can read more at www.piersdiesel.com

No 925... ... bummer. On the bright side that will probably extend my survival rate a couple weeks next winter :) . Still waiting for the 800SDI REVegade to show up-in the meantime my lowly Sport will have to do. Only real complaint I have with it is the crappy fuel gauge-which I was warned about by my dealer before I ever left his shop. They call it the compass-either says you're going forward or east-not much in between... ...

I'm with you John about the extra mileage that the SDI is capable of-especially on the '03 REV's there is not much space to pack extra fuel with you. I have seen pictures of can mounts at the back of the running boards to carry a 2 gallon can on each side-but haven't gotten around to fabbing up anything like that. At least once this winter on a trip I resorted to riding in someone else's track on the way back to save fuel..... not much fun.

JR2 no website yet but just contact him at this number +1 905 727 4057 and talk to him Im sure you will be impressed by the end of the conversation. I am also very weary at spending money on mods because so many out there just do nothing IE speedwerx! Anyways Bondi worked with Jaws to develop pipes to fit the ZX chassis when we put 800 triples in them. Both have been around alot and both know how to make the power. Get a crankshop catalogue and look closely at the sleds and see how many have Bondi Engine stickers on them.

I emailed your guy about mine and got no reply... I still want to sell mine for $200. 00. Have him get a hold of me. Chris
