Wanted: Performance Exhaust without the DRONE

I had the Banks monster exhaust on my 01 & the drone was real noticeable while pulling my 12,000lb 5vr. I have the mbrp replacement muffler behind the cat on my 05 & don't notice any drone. I have to roll down the passenger back window while pulling a hill to get that sweet rumble when it bounces off the retaining wall.

I could be a little deaf though, 31yrs of driving big truck will do that to a guy.

exhaust upgrade that works for towing without the blasted drone that comes in just above 2,000 rpm.

I also had the drone, installed some sound deadoning sheet on behind the rear seat on the sheet metel below the window. Cut back on the drone alot. I think it was $60. from JC Whitney.
