Wanted: Wisconsin transmission shop

transmission shop in or near Wisconsin wanted... the need for a rebuild on the Auto is rapidly approaching... anyone have some positive first hand experience? Will upgrade the torque converter w/ the rebuild, but don't really want to get into a DTT/ATS/et al debate... any positive input is welcome.

Goerend Brothers is out in Iowa, about a 5 hour drive for you. I have talked to Dave out there a couple times and met him. I have not heard ONE single complaint about him or his work, that is something I cannot say about any other transmission shop I know of within 3000 miles. Give Dave a call.



Hucksdorf Diesel does the DTT setups, the one I know of that they have done is really happy with it. They are in Greendale.



Other than those two there is not a lot other than the pay and pray shops.

Thanks to All for the posts and PMs... and for keeping things on a positive note! Y'all provided some good input for me to pursue... hopefully in the near future I'll have a service provider selected and by late spring (pre-towing season) I'll actually get things done.
