After watching the TV coverage I wonder not about the resovle of America. But can the News people keep their mouths shut long enough for us to launch an attack? With todays communication system all a the enemy has to do is turn on the TV and the cordinates of the attack force will be given.

....couldn't believe it, but....

During Desert Storm, the press was co-operative in not "telegraphing" anything that would allow the enemy to do any immediate pre-assault defense planning.

This is what shocked me. THEY HAD TO BE REMINDED AND WARNED THAT THE IRAQI GOV'T HAD CNN/ITN, etc. , and don't "go live" when our guys were trying to be sneaky...

Once the assault would begin, however, they were only too happy to let Saddam watch his forces being destroyed in "real-time"

OBL probably watched the WTC go down live via our satellites

I can only hope Bin Laden and his posse get to

see us blow their a@@es back to the stone age,

not a very long trip for those scumbags.

Iraq had better defenses than Afghanistan

I do hope the news media keeps it quiet till the iron rain comes to Afghanistan. With the lack of air defenses it's not near the danger that Iraq posed. Some other have mentioned that Bush doen't have that blunt "Your gonna DIE Bin Laden" attitude. It's his position as the Leader of the Greatest Nation that he needs to show that political side. The military forces that go forth and battle Bin Laden's group will unleash the anger of all Americans.
