Has anyone noticed their instrument cluster gets warm when the lights are on? I have noticed that at about 45-minutes of driving in the evening the instruments bezels (plastic over stock gauges) is warm. I've had my truck just over two-years and have always noticed them warm to the touch within an hour. Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences... :D Patrick.

Kind of sounds like the way the lamp shade in my front room gets warm after the light is one for awhile, and the light bulb, better not touch it, its hot... still trying to figure out why... . here's your sign:D

Well Patrick we haven't heard from ya, hope I didn't offend ya. I guess if you ever had one of our gauge clusters out and apart you'd know that there are a bunch of small light bulbs inside that contribute to the warm cluster. I checked the other night after my lights been on for about an hour, yep mine was warm too. Now when something starts melting, then things are serious and not funny. .

Now THAT'S funny... . I don't care who you are!

BTW, I changed all of them in my cluster last year, as 2 had burned out. I figured that the rest would soon follow. There were more in there than I figured.

Warm lights...

:D I would never take offense... I sympathise with the potential of brain damage within this brother(sister)hood :-laf I had just never noticed my VW bug speedo, Astro van or Santa Fe clusters getting warm. I have changed blubs in my Ram before, you have to buy a few 'long-lasting' packs to get them all replaced. Thanks again to all you folks who help me keep my CTD on the road, Patrick.
