Anyone have pictures of the Warn Trans4mer bumper on an 03? Loved it on my 97... . Looking for a way to mount my KC's again.

Thanks,

Byron

I posted with the same question a few weeks ago and nobody answered back about it. I hope you have better luck than I did.

Yep, they make the Trans4mer for the 03; I have it on mine... no pics yet though. If I have a chance tonight, I'll try to get some and post them.

Install was simple, but you do have to drill. After I got mine on, somebody posted with warnings about drilling the frame. Apparently you're not supposed to drill the top or bottom of the frame rails, but to mount the Trans4mer you have drill 2 holes on the bottom of each side to get the frame extenders on.

Make sure to take some pictures of the frame hole location... If you don't mind. :D

Trans4mer pics

... and, one of the mounting holes. Looking from the passenger side at the frame rail. You can see the factory paired bolt and you can see the 2 bolts on the bottom of the rail where I drilled, and the 2 bolts aft of the factory paired bolt, also drilled.

So a total of 8 holes to be drilled? Do they go all the way through?

Thanks for the pics! Looks great!

There are actually 9 total. 5 go all the way through horizontally. The 4 on bottom do not go through the top. The 9th hole is on the driver's side a little further back for a bracket. The passenger side has the same bracket, of course, but doesn't require a new hole as the frame already has one.

Johnstra,

Did you drill the frame for the driver's side brace? I'm talking about the one which mounts directly next to the steering box? I skipped that one!

Karl
