That's right, after thirteen years of attending college, 4 universities, 161 credit hours of classes, I have finally obtained my B. S. Degree in Computer Science. I've taken 42 credit hours in the last year and a half, with the last year being both a full time (12 credit hours per semester) student and the lead developer here at work over 5 other guys working 40+ hours a week.



Ah, don't know what I'm going to do with all my free time now, think I'll go enroll in some welding courses or something to keep me busy.

I wondered what happened to you. Congratulations on finishing and now having the degree. It seems like the chat has had its moments lately and now with me off work I look in nightly to see if anyone is sporting around and don't see anyone in there too often. I guess that tells me to work harder at rehab so I can get a life again,LOL... . Andy

Congrats morph. Job well done. I know when I got done it was like being on vacation. I used to get to work at 4am get off at noon hit class at 1pm until 7 or 8pm then play with the kids and wife for a few and then do homework. Figured if life was gonna suck until I got done I might as well make it a bit worse for as short as possible. Had a few semesters with 20 hours most were 18 even the summers. Got done in 2 1/2 years though. Was never so constantly tired before or since. Whats really funny is I was a meatcutter for years before I went back to school (and during). Decided that wasnt for me for a career. After I got done with school I had a couple good jobs in big corporate America complete with the suit and tie thing. Now I am a controller for a smaller local company called Tony's Meats for the last 13 years.
