2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission warning lights

My 99 2500 4x4 recently started giving me the brake and anti-lock warning lights. This is most of the time but not all the time. I can't tell that anything is making it come on and everything works normally. 160,000 miles on truck. Can the dealer hook up the computer and tell what the malfunction is or does anybody have an idea for me to check out.

check the abs sensor on topof the rear diff. unplug the sensor electrical contact cleaner in the connection. apply silacone grease . try that, if it doesnt work check all the wiring running along the left side of the frame leading to the sensor. found mine chafed thru near the rear spring. hope this helps.

I r eplaced the ABS sensor on my 3500 1999 last week for the same warning lights. This took care of the problem. Took about a 1/2 hr to complete and a $40. part.
