There was just a warning of internet foul play. I just saw a report on CNN I believe and it seems that some organizations have indeed been hijacked. "Hijacking" can fall under several categories ranging from masked page redirections (I. E PayPal about a year ago that went to a "Look alike" PayPal site that was not the official web page but a redirecting script) To Credit card database hacking. Make sure to check that the site is indeed the one you attend on dealing with. Also make sure it is secure. For instance Some may begin with HTTPS:// which is Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure.
The Only advice *I* can give to you all is make sure you do buisness with a reputable organization either over the phone or to have them send an official information packet to your home address. That way your moneys are going to where you wanted them to.
Just a heads up and any other ideas are surely welcome.
