27 or 30 mm rear wheel cylinders???

Hose for oil Bypass

I brought my truck into Tint King in West Palm Beach to have my windows tinted, they said it would take a few hours, When I got back I found embedded rock in the tread and rock dust streaks all over the rear tires. I was ******, I went behind the building to find Burn out marks from my truck and other vehicles as well. I went inside sreaming at these *******s in front of the other customers, they followed me outside with the manager and worker that drove my truck. The guy said he had the truck in neutral revved the engine and put it in drive ( Bull**** ) The manager said he knew nothing of this which is Bull**** again due to the fact that there were about 25-30 burn out marks made by different vehicles. The manager offered the guys services to wash and wax my truck but I don't want that S. O. B. touching it! Any recommendations on how I should handle this!

I feel bad for you. I had a similar instance happen at the place that tinted my windows. I stayed in the waiting room while the guy stomped on it down the driveway to the garage. I stood up and said "What the hell!!!" He then prceeded to ask me if the truck was "chipped up'ed"??? I told him to do the tint and stop asking stupid questions.

I wonder if there is something the law can do about it. What about the better buisness buerea

I would take there phone number off your post and pm it to who ever wants it... Just to save face with moderators...

I know how you feel. I had my truck at Redwood City Dodge for service about 9 years ago. After 3 days the truck has not been serviced, but there was over 200 additional miles on it. The service manager told me they had to test drive it!!!! The truck was in for a leaking axle seal. I got into to so badly with the service manager that the police were called.

I removed the address / phone number info as it really is a public harrassment issue. With that if you can PROVE that they did roll out a few with your truck and have PHYSICAL proof then you have a case. It happens alot unfortunatly and there is not alot one can do unless unruly acts are witnessed by general public or are captured on COURT SUBMISSABLE video capture I. E a marked video surveilance sequence.

Guilt was allready admitted by the Nutral Drop (" The guy said he had the truck in neutral revved the engine and put it in drive " ) and THAT HURTS!

This one is a toughy, first i would have confronted them as you did, then said you just ate a window tint job for joy riding, then would have taken pictures of burnouts, but maybe after i did some surveillance of said burnout are(if you have the free time) with video camera, which has zoom on it... What can i say when done wrong i take the time to stick it to them if i can.

The last time i had a lube shop service my truck which has been over 3 yrs ago, i got home and notice my valve stem caps were missing, hmmm just so happens i was back up in that area the next day, needless to say i recieved valve stem caps after asking them why when you chance the oil that you need to check air in the tires, what can i say im particular, when i say oil change i mean only oil change, no fingers anywhere else. . :-laf

assuming they didn't really hurt your truck, the best you can hope for is to let everyone you know, that this company is to be avoided. you might also be able to get a permit to picket their business, however that will cost you more time.

Definately make a complaint to the BBB. it will probably be the best you can get.

As our son can attest, this is why I used to take a folding chair with me to the shop when I had my equipment serviced under warranty and baby sit it. If it was thjer for 3 days, so was I. That didn't mean they did their repair correctly, but they didn't pull this type of crap. Makes you want to take an iron pie to everyone on the place.

We have a South Fl TDR chapter, I think... . been there once... I don't know if the guys are still getting together once a month.

How could I tell if the neutral drop hurt my transmission? Maybe I should call Bill K.

1. Make big sign that says "These a$$wipes did burnouts in my truck".

2. Mount it in your bed.

3. Take a good book and go park in front of their store on public property on your day off.

4. Extract extortion payment in excess of $1000 to move your truck.

Ask the service manager if his wifes gynacologist says the same thing.

I am taking my truck to the dealers body shop next week to have the door painted under warranty. They said they will need it for 3 days. Is there anything that can be done to kill engine performance? that way they would not drive it. Just looking for piece of mind, I trust no one.

i have always been a fan of a written complait stating all of the details including names, times and complaint. also include what you feel is fair compensation for the issue. if you can not tell them what would make you happy they can not fix it. if they meet your demand for fair compensation... walk away with a smile... .

i am sure the owner of the company is not aware of what is going on in the shop... . make him aware.

i've been lucky enough to not have to bring my truck anywhere where i could not see it. it went to the dealer to have the rocker panel body plugs installed, and from the drive through vehicle drop off area, through a big window, i could watch my truck the entire time... when i got my truck rust proofed, again, i watched them drive it in, and from inside, through a window, i watched them work for a bit [couldn't watch the whole time, hurts to see them drill holes into a truck that is less than a week old]

I agree with JDougherty -
i am sure the owner of the company is not aware of what is going on in the shop... . make him aware.

I own several small businesses with employees and I would fire that guy on the spot if I was the owner. The manager would at least get his A** chewed. It is his job to know what is going on. You would at least get your tint job free and if your request for compensation was reasonable, you'd probably get that too. Tell him that unless he meets your request for compensation you are going to file a complaint with the BBB, notify the landlord of the property damage and illegal acts, write a letter to your local tv news station and news paper, and are willing to take him and his employees to small claims court. If you are polite and obviously very distraught and serious and he is a straight shooter, you should be fairly compensated.

Evil thoughts of roofing nails and the parking lot came to my mind . There were just evil thoughts -- I would not act on those thoughts and neither would you. Sometime it makes you feel better to think of these things without acting on them.

yeehaw - that is something similar to what i would do. i am in business for myself... if i do a bad job i want to know before everyone else in town knows.

If this a national chain, i would get pictures of the burnout area, a description of what happened, and send it to the president of the corporation.
