2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Warranty - 3yr 36K

Sorry I haven't posted in a while you F 'ers are hard on my pocket book so I haven't been around so much... givin me all sorts of ideas...



My truck goes out of warranty (3yr factory) in Mid-April and this is what i have wrong:



1. 1 foot crack in the windshield

2. Power seat

3. Some loud click noise ??? passenger side after driving for like 2-3min???

4. The automatic shifter alignment is out (in dash)



I want to take it in once and only once... what should i expect to be covered and not covered???



What else should I tell them is wrong that I haven't noticed lift pump maybe? etc...



Oh, and if I have Wix filters on fuel and oil should I change those before I take it in?

Hey- They will cover everything you listed unless the glass was cracked becuase of a rock or something else... Unless it is a defect then its covered... . if they are gonna be dicks then give it to them. Also, tell them you are having a fuel surge or something of that natre and tell them you want the vp44 checked and the lift pump. its worth a try!

I would think everything would be covered except the windshield. Most likely on your own there. If you don't have gauges you could ask them to check the fuel pressure. I believe the wix filters are on the approved list but I am not positive. You could try a search for approved filters or something. Good luck!

Check to see if you have free glass replacement under your insurance policy... ... I've replaced mine 4 times... and every time it was due to flying rocks and sand while crossing the state of Wyoming:--)



Boy is it windy there!
