Welcome Shane
Welcome and hope you are enjoying the new truck. You should be able to talk the dealer into ordering you a book but if you can't they are fairly cheap. It's about 5X8" and contains about 20-25 pages; well at least my 2001 does. You can of course go to the parts counter and order one yourself which might be less of a hassel than trying to get the dealer to spend $15. 00 bucks.
Most of the stuff covered in the book and the time intervals might not apply to you depending on what you purchased as an extended warranty. Some dealers on used vehicles will sell you an extended warranty which is underwritten by another company. My hometown dealer sells AUL and something named Select 2000 I think. Another that come to mind is Warranty Gold. There is nothing wrong with these policies and I have had my Jeep covered by one for years and have had several items repaired. Have one on my boat as well from another company. Many times you will get a copy of these types of warranties in the mail a few weeks after you take delivery of your truck which will define what is covered and for how long. You probably already know about these types of policies though.
So I guess the first thing to find out is what you got sold. Oh and yes you can have the remaining part of the original 3/36000 and probably the 5/100000 mile engine warranty transfered to you as well.
Started BOMBing yet?
