I think I saw someone say that they were running the TST box and blew an intercooler hose and were able to pull the box and they were covered under warranty no problem. Anyone else have a similar experience? Anyone with a blown up turbo get it covered under warranty? That might be the extreme, but I'm interested in normal warranty coverages for typical problems that the TST "technically" would have voided, but you were able to remove it and get it covered. How about transmission or drivetrain issues? On the flip side, anyone take their truck in for warranty work and take the TST box off and still get denied coverage? IE: can the dealer tell it was ever there once it's removed?

Please do not reply with what you "think should be the case"... I'm only interested to hear from those with first hand experience who were denied or granted coverage. Thx :D

Not that I ever want to rip off D/C or the dealer, I am my own warranty station for those items I believe are caused by my actions, but how do you hide the fact that the boost elbow has been removed and replaced?

I didn't try to keep the stock hose clamp intact. Is it possible to get that hose off without buggering up the clamp to the point where its obvious it's been tampered with?

Seems to me that if a dealer really wants to know if you had a TST box on there he could figure it out.
