Warranty is now history

Turned 70k miles yesterday and I am on my own now, the warranty is gone. I am a little nervous but, I am confident that I will not have any major issues. My truck has not seen the dealer except for the usual flashes, recalls and a new SCR. To date I have had no mechanical issues at all, everything is running as it should.

I have been looking at an ECM replacement from GDE maybe even a full delete not sure yet.

I just reviewed the warranty coverage on FCA's website and I don't see anything in there that expires at 70,000 miles. Why do you say it's out of warranty?

I have a 70K warranty from Ram that I paid extra for because of all the on board computers, and electronics' so that is what I believe talking about, currently I have 36K on my little truck.

Check with the dealer over the warranty first, there can be State mandated emissions warranties still in effect. Some of those warranties could cover an engine failure if the emissions were found to be at fault. The dealer will have that info if you request it.

I highly recommend GDE tuning. They worked wonders on my CRD Liberty and I am familiar with the Ecodiesel tune. Folks really seem to like it.

Should have clarified, the 7/70 bumper to bumper is gone. I remembered the 80k federal emissions but, forgot the 5/100 power train.

Took off the vinyl between the doors, the passenger side was starting to peel and break apart. It was easier to remove than I thought it would and a little heat helped too. Took the picture after a good wash, clay, buffed with Pinnacle paint cleansing lotion and a final buffing with Collinite 845. Just passed the 80k mile mark and so far so good everything works as it should. Oil/ filter every 8500 ( 15% on oil life ), fuel filter every other oil change and air cleaner every third oil change. Made the switch to Rotella T6 and will get an analysis the next change, so far other oil checks have shown nothing out of the ordinary.
