Anybody got a letter from National Program Headquaters from St. Louis,Missouri. It is about extended coverage. Called there 1-800-200-1505 number and asked there price. The amount of miles I put on they recomend a 5yr. 100,000 mile for 2288. 00. Seems about as high as dealer. This is my fourth truck with diesel and never had extened coverage . They have a web site MBPNETWORK.com say they have been offering it 20 years. Just wondering that is a lot of money to me but I know what things cost. But they say it is good till 10-28-00.

I have posted many replies regarding extended warrenty's. they seem to disapear almost as soon as I post them, (mabey some sponsors don't like what I am saying!!). Extended warrenty coverage ,(IMHO), is the most profitable deals, (for however is selling it) that there is. Your engine is covered by 5 year 100,000 mile from the get go, so dealer is betting that you won't have a problem, you are betting you will on the other stuff.

Just like at vegas or atlantic city, the odds are rigged in favor of the house, yes you will hear that someone had $10,000 in repairs covered by his/her extended warrenty that they paid $1. 95 for, (but you also hear of the little old lady playing the $1 slots winning a million). imo, take the money you were going to spend on the extended warrenty, invest it so that you could get it if needed for a major repair. then at the end of the 5 years take it plus all the interest and spend it on your self, (trip, dwn payment on a new truck something, I think you will be many many miles ahead if you do this. assuming you read this before it gets buried somewhere good luck on what ever you deceide

I got the same thing in the mail. I sent it back saying "you gotta be $hiting me" $2200 for a extended warranty? I hope you laughed in there face. You should be able to get a diesel wrap for around $800. 00 for more info email me. They want to rip you off selling you the warranty then find every possible way to void it. They get comming and going. IMO stay away from it, unless you get a good deal.

Amen danandme,

The worst breakage I had (flex plate bolts sheared off,new plate, TC and pump + labor) didn't cost as much as an extended warranty. Then they probably wouldn't have paid anyway because I must have been driving the H ell out of it to bust it like that (abuse clause). BIG rip off if you ask me.

Oh yeah, almost forgot. My son-in-law has got good use out of his extended warranty, but he drives a Yukon. Nuff said! #ad

National headquaters of what? Its not from DC. Take time to find out who you deal with.

I bought my extended warranty from Dave Smith Motors in Kellogg Idaho. They had the best price. I have the 7/100,000 zero deduct warranty at the cost of $1800. The dealer in Chico Calif was over $3000. for a much lesser warranty with a $50. deduct. The problem with my warranty is the local dealer, who still has yet to fix my fuel sender problem and my brake pull, always finds something to charge me for when they do any work on my truck. The only thing they have done right so far is replace my tires when they put flat spots on them trying to prove me wrong about my brake pull and they did a good job fixing the dent they put in my truck while working on it! As for the Chrysler rep in my area, He is a joke! He refuses to talk to me and has had my truck kicked out of arbutration. This guy needs a job at G. M. ... My truck is ok but its the LAST Chrysler product Ill ever own. NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT WHAT SO EVER!
