Warranty ? On Drive/fog Lights

one of my factory driving/fog lights burnt out. i am within my 3/36 bumper to bumper warranty - the dealer says the lights are covered under a 1 year 12 month warranty -- is this true (not that a dealer would ever be dishonest) ?

the bulbs are 12/12 the lamps themselves are 3/36. read in your owners manual about the normal maintenance, i think this is where the wording comes in for bulbs/fuses.
