Any one ever get a drivers seat replaced under dodge extended or regular warranty? mine is cloth and the cushion is worn out and feels damaged bad on the edge from getting in and out. cloth is fine, the truck only has 35K on it and is a 2006.

The purpose of a factory warranty is to protect the consumer from manufacturing defects. I've never heard of any warranty on any product that will replace worn parts.

when i was a service writer for jeep, we replaced a few seat with "bad stitching". so it depends on how nice the dealer is.

dodge dealer says they are ordering a new lower seat cushion and going to replace just the foam cushion not the upulstry. . anyone had this done?

i have sceen it done. i know some people that stick a piece of carpet, or old floormat between the foam and springs, so the springs dont eat in to the foam.

If you are a "big" guy the edge of the seat takes a pretty good beating each time you slide in. They will usually replace the first one, but after that they will figure out it isn't defective.

had the bottom seat cussion and cover replaced by ADZAM dodge in Bedford Hills, NY. and they did a terrible job. had to take it to my upulstry guy to fix it right.
