2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Warranty transfer?

Hi, I am new to the group, and to CTD's, but I must say that my new to me 2002 2500 4x4 ctd quad is awsome!! I have it in the dealers now for a trackbar rep. I bought truck used w/ 27k, and 1 year on warranty. While looking at the s. a. 's comp. screen I noticed that it had a 7/70k warranty on it and was wondering if that will transfer, or will it be downgraded to a 3/36. P. S. this aint my first rodeo with a 4x4 dodge, and I already have a Darins stabilizer on the way. Thanks guys.

Thanks, I called dodge HQ, and they said it transfers, and said the 3/36 portion is bumper to bumper, and the remainder till 7/70 is powertrain only (eng. and transmission) with a 100$ deductible. thanks

I never had a warranty with my truck, but I thought the Cummins came with a 100,000 mile warranty?
