If I buy a new 05 at a dealership out of my area because they offer a better deal to me. Can I have any warrenty work done at a local dealer Or will they tell me to go to the dealer I bought at??

You can get service/warranty work done at any dealer

I didn't even think about taking mine back to my seller for warranty work... even though it's many miles closer

All DC dealers are required to do warrenty work on your truck and will never tell you no, but thay can make it difficult. Appointments can made in a way that you hace to wait weeks for the repair, after waiting weeks thay can say the part did not come in and reschedule you in another few weeks. I'm sure you get the idea. Also I think there might be 20 mile radius. If the dealer

you bought the truck at is within 20 or so miles they might be able to tell you to back. In the end its up to the dealer and if they want you business.

Get a printout of the truck your looking at and the offer they made. Then go to your local dealer and see if they can match it.



Everytime I have done this the local dealer I work with has beaten the others out on price to get my business agin.

I done this with two local dealerships one 10 miles away from where I live, an one 27 miles away. I had a quote from a dealership 50+ miles away that was the best deal and had the truck I was looking for on hand. Both local dealership salesmen, after bouncing back an fourth with the general manager told me they just could not compete with the offer that was made from the 50+ mile dealership. One of the dealerships told me (MR T) if you can buy that truck for that price you better go for it, I can't touch that figure they offered, so I did. Anyway any warranty work I take to my local dealership 10 miles away, an have always been treated good on service. Hey I really tried to buy from them, but I can use that $2500. 00 just as much as they can.
