Why can't I find 4.10 truck?

Fuel/Water Seperator - How to reach?

Depends on your dealer. Some dealers will void your warranty if you raise the hood.

ABSOLUTELY!

Get with your local TDR members and find a dealer that is half blind to those sort of things! They're out there, you just have to look.

Non related, but I found a mechanic and a shop for my motorcycle that told me that they would ignore the mods up until the factory rep would have to look and approve any warranty, then they would tell me to make it stock and bring it back.

Always keep your OEM parts that you trade out for after market. If you want to do something that will damage the OEM (cutting holes in the air box, removing sections, or cutting exhaust, etc. ), get a spare to do it to.

just looking for an opinion, I took out the silencer ring and then that baffle thing in the air inlet tube, along with installing an aftermarket AFE air filter, the question is, am I pushing my luck with the warranty police?:-{}

EK, I doubt any dealer will find your mods but if your engine were to seize up or wear prematurely and they found your AFE guess what they would blame.

EKing,

This is why I reccomend keeping all of the OEM items. Things like Air box, and computer removal are so easy to do on short notice. If you ever decide to sell the truck to a dealer, you can either transfer all of your after market items to the new truck (if that is the route you take) or sell them outright. The dealership is just going to strip all your goodies off anyways.

Sticks

Had one dealer threaten to void my warranty for my Boost/egt gauge and a Scotty II when I was in for a leak in a transmission line fitting at 15K. Said "All the turbo and performance mods caused the leak ( tech told me the fittings were crappy design)" Went to another dealer and was commended for having gauges. No mention about the Scotty II and they fixed the leak in a day.

My 2 cents
