No, I did not misunderstand, it is common sense to me. I on the other hand drive my truck 430 miles a week to work and back, I am not at the point in my life where $3. 25 a gallon for diesel is cheap to me, different story if it was a $1. 00 a gallon


The hop up boxes are fine IMO if one knows all about the Cummins engine and upgrade the other parts around it to keep it happy. I dont know anything about the Cummins engine other than it is an awsome engine. On the other hand I have a very hoped up VW bug that is turboed, EFI, runs 10. 90's @ 124 in the 1/4 mile, I have everything modified to keep from breaking parts like a VW bus trans, Porsche 930 CV's and axles just to name a few things.
