I won't dispute what Nostradamus had to say several centuries ago, but it has been known that certain powers over the years have used his predictions just as much as a timetable for certain planned events and for selfserving Propaganda. I wouldn't doubt that the perps of yesterdays travesty have read those same quatrains, and could be attempting to use them for said propaganda.



One interesting tidbit, on the Gnashville Local news last night a black fellow of Islamic faith was interviewed because his Mosque had come under verbal threat. He happened to be wearing a Blue turbin. Take that for what it may or may not be worth. Anyone else see any Blue Turbins lately?



BTW, Hitler, Churchill, and Roosevelt used the various quatrains from Nostradamus back in WWII for proganda purposes that put each entity in the most favored light for victory, and in a few cases intentionally timed various campaigns to what was written to add credence to the propaganda, IOW a self-fulfulling prophecy with some help.

Doug, you should be aware that this quotation you have referenced is not only incorrect, but also not legitimately attributable to Nostradamus.



Please re-check your source... It is in fact an Urban legend that originally started from a website full of bogus predictions, alegedly attibuted to Nostradamus.



Oh and BTW, New York is 40 deg 45 mins N, 74 deg 0 min W, the same longitude and 45 deg N latitude will find you not a stone's throw from paddling in the St. Laurence Seaway, (roughly) south east of Ottawa and southwest of Montreal... .

Well let'ss analyse this.....

For example what does City of God mean? It could be Mecca, Medina, Rome, Jeruselum, Salt Lake City, or any holy city depending on your religion.

What do I mean by thunder- a storm? War? EarthQuake? lots of stuff can be described by thunder.

There are a lot of two brothers on this world (I think the Number runs among the Billions) and fortress endures what--Besiegement, Famine, etc?

What Great Leader? How will he succumb? To what?

Hey, I think at one time or another, EVERYONE of us has posted some erroneous information, I've been called on it a couple times. I simply apologized and moved on. He wasn't calling you "gullible", not by a long shot, but simply pointing out to all of us we need to watch out for that. I, for one, did not know the facts he just posted on here, but appreciate McIntyre sharing them with us.

Human nature to get "edgy" during times like this. I get very defensive when things get out of control. The day after, my wife brought me some cofee. I was glued to the TV. I asked "whats for lunch". She came back with a typical "I dont know, what do you think you need". I flipped out! Threw the cofee, jumped up ready to fight everyone. I later made my amens. Lets face it, we all get edgy, maybe not to that degree, but we all do it in times like this. Its human nature, and a proven fact. No one in their right mind has acted the same since Tuesday. Nahh!!! He just dropped some real kick a$$ acid and then wrote about what he saw



Besides, the sci-fi show First Wave just concluded with the destruction of the Gua invaders complete. They used the writings of Nostrodamus as their guide to defeating the enemy. Nuff said
